The discography of American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, 4 live albums, and several compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. Toto has won numerous Grammy Awards for their work.
Before Toto was formed, members of the band played sessions for other musicians. David Paich, the son of drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all performed on Boz Scaggsalbum in 1975 Silk Degrees. Toto was formed in the year 1976 in the wake of the collaboration.
Turn Back, Toto's third studio album was criticized by critics for not having hit singles. In 1985, lead singer Fergie Frederiksen resigned from the group The group held auditions for the new frontman. The band chose guitarist Steve Lukather, and recorded Fahrenheit in 1986.
In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by scouring through old tapes and demos to release a special edition called Toto XX. official website was well-received by fans and the band went on a tour that featured former members Bobby Kimball, Steve Porcaro, and Joseph Williams.
While touring for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun the drummer Leland Sklar departed from the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set called Falling in Between, which included live recordings from the tour as well as an interview with Toto.

At the end of the tour, the band decided to let him go, and they hired guitarist and singer Joseph Williams to take his place. Drummer David Hungate also left the group after the tour. He was replaced by bassist Leland Sklar.

The group Toto is best known for their hit "Africa" The band recently came together for a concert tour to promote their latest album, All In. The album, released on the 6th of November, 2018 featured three new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun as well as completed recordings of four older tracks with Jeff Porcaro playing drums and Mike or Steve Porcaro playing bass. The album also included a cover version of Weezer’s track "Hash Pipe," which the band re-released after hearing it on the radio.
